Lamborghini Revuelto
Charging cable
Full AC charging speed for your car.
Why this fits your Revuelto+−
The Lamborghini Revuelto has a Type 2 inlet and a single-phase 7kW onboard charger. A 7.4kW cable already delivers its full AC speed. The 22kW option only helps if your next car charges faster.

Charging
the Lamborghini Revuelto.
The Lamborghini Revuelto (LB744) is the successor to the Aventador, a flagship V12 coupe launched in 2023 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Three electric motors assist the naturally aspirated V12, and a 3.8kWh battery provides a small amount of electric-only driving capability. The charging inlet is Type 2, and AC charging uses a Type 2 to Type 2 lead. There is no DC rapid charging port.
The Revuelto's onboard AC charger accepts up to 7kW single-phase, and with a 3.8kWh battery the car can be fully charged in approximately 30 minutes from a 7kW source. The emphasis here is not on charging speed or electric range: the battery supports the combustion powertrain during performance driving and enables limited low-speed electric running. The cable you carry is a precaution and a convenience, not the centrepiece of the ownership experience.
Estimates based on battery size and charge power. Rapid (DC) times are for a 10 to 80% charge, the way manufacturers quote them. Real-world charging varies with temperature, battery state and the charger itself.
7.4 kW or 22 kW?
Which cable does
the Revuelto need?
For a battery of 3.8kWh, charging is brief at any AC rate. The Revuelto's 7kW onboard charger fills the battery in roughly half an hour, so even if you arrive at a slower public AC point you will not wait long. A Type 2 to Type 2 cable rated at 7.4kW is appropriate and matches the car's onboard charger without over-specifying.
Cable length is a secondary concern given the short charge times, but a 5m lead is the natural choice and handles the vast majority of situations. There is no three-phase or 22kW advantage here: the onboard charger is single-phase, and no cable upgrade changes that. Keep a compact 5m cable in the car for occasions when you want to top up at a hotel or event charger.
What does it cost to charge?
Filling the 3.8kWh battery from empty costs well under £1 at any tariff: roughly 29p on an off-peak rate of around 7.5p per kWh, and around £1 at a standard rate of roughly 27p per kWh. The battery is small enough that cost of charging is essentially negligible. Check current rates if needed, though the figures will not change materially.

Lamborghini Revuelto FAQs
Good
questions.
Still not sure? Our team will confirm the right cable for your vehicle.
Contact usCan the Lamborghini Revuelto charge at 22kW?+−
No, the Lamborghini Revuelto has a single-phase onboard charger limited to 7kW, so a 7.4kW cable already delivers its full AC speed. A 22kW cable would only benefit a future car.
What length charging cable should I get?+−
5m suits most home and public charge points. Choose 7.5m or 10m if the charge point is far from your car's charging port or you park on the far side of a bay.
What charging cable does the Lamborghini Revuelto need?+−
A Type 2 to Type 2 cable rated at up to 7.4kW. The Revuelto has a Type 2 AC inlet and accepts up to 7kW single-phase. There is no DC rapid charging port. The battery is only 3.8kWh, so a full charge takes around 30 minutes at 7kW.
Can the Lamborghini Revuelto rapid charge?+−
No. The Revuelto has no DC rapid charging capability. All charging is via the Type 2 AC inlet at up to 7kW single-phase. Given the 3.8kWh battery, a full charge takes roughly 30 minutes on a 7kW source, so rapid DC charging is not a practical necessity.
How long does the Lamborghini Revuelto take to charge?+−
At 7kW, the small 3.8kWh battery takes around 30 minutes to charge from empty. On a standard 3-pin socket at 2.3kW it would take closer to two hours, but that scenario is unlikely given the car's typical use. Plugging in at a 7kW wallbox or public AC point is the practical approach.
What length cable do I need for the Lamborghini Revuelto?+−
A 5m cable is sufficient for almost all situations. The Revuelto's tiny battery means charge sessions are short wherever you plug in, so cable length is a minor consideration. A compact 5m lead stored in the car covers hotel chargers, event venues, and any occasion where a top-up makes sense.
