Zeekr 7X
Charging cable
Charges about 195% faster on 22 kW public posts than a 7.4 kW cable.
Why this fits your 7X+−
The Zeekr 7X has a Type 2 inlet and a three-phase 22kW onboard charger. The 22kW cable carries its full 22kW on three-phase chargers. A 7.4kW cable would cap it. On a single-phase home wallbox both cables charge at the same 7.4kW.
Which Zeekr 7X versions does it fit?+
This cable fits every Zeekr 7X, because they all share the same Type 2 charging inlet. That includes:
- Zeekr 7X Core RWD
- Zeekr 7X Privilege AWD
- Zeekr 7X Long Range RWD
Whichever 7X trim you drive, it is the same cable, so you can order with confidence.

How long does it take?
Charging
the Zeekr 7X.
The Zeekr 7X is a mid-size electric SUV built on an 800V platform, with UK RHD deliveries expected from late 2026 into early 2027. Two battery options are offered: a 75kWh LFP pack in the entry Core trim and a 100kWh NMC pack in the Long Range and Privilege variants. Both charge through a standard Type 2 inlet for AC and a CCS port for rapid DC. The cable you supply for home wallboxes and public AC charge points is a Type 2 to Type 2 lead.
The 7X's onboard AC charger is rated at 22kW across three phases, a figure significantly higher than the 11kW found on most European BEVs. On DC, the 100kWh version accepts up to 360kW, while the 800V platform also enables the LFP-equipped base model to support high DC rates. Rapid DC charging uses the station's own tethered CCS cable. For AC charging at home, speed depends on your household supply and the onboard charger, not the platform voltage.
The 7X's 22kW AC charger delivers a real speed advantage at public three-phase charge points. At home it depends on your supply type. Rapid (DC) times are for a 10 to 80% charge, the way manufacturers quote them. Real-world charging varies with temperature, battery state and the charger itself.
7.4 kW or 22 kW?
Which cable does
the 7X need?
The 7X's 22kW onboard AC charger is a genuine differentiator at the right charge point, but its benefit at home depends entirely on your electricity supply. Most UK homes are single-phase, which caps AC charging at 7.4kW no matter how the car or cable is rated. On a single-phase home wallbox, a 7.4kW cable delivers the full available speed and is the sensible everyday choice for most owners.
If you have a three-phase supply at home or regularly use 22kW public AC charge points, a 32A three-phase Type 2 cable lets the 7X draw its full 22kW, which significantly cuts AC session times on the 100kWh pack. On a single-phase setup, a three-phase cable charges at exactly the same 7.4kW as the cheaper option. Weigh whether you actually have or use three-phase AC before paying the premium.
What does it cost to charge?
Filling the 100kWh battery from empty costs roughly £7 to £8 on an off-peak EV tariff at around 7.5p per kWh, and around £27 at a standard domestic rate of around 27p per kWh. The 75kWh LFP pack costs closer to £5 to £6 at off-peak rates, or around £20 at the standard rate. An overnight EV tariff is the most economical approach for both versions. Public rapid charging at 45p to 80p per kWh adds up quickly and is best kept to longer journeys. Check current tariff rates, as they change.

Good
questions.

Contact usWhat charging cable does the Zeekr 7X need?+−
The Zeekr 7X has a Type 2 inlet, so it needs a Type 2 to Type 2 cable for UK home and public charging. It charges on up to three-phase AC at up to 22kW.
Can the Zeekr 7X charge at 22kW?+−
Yes, the Zeekr 7X has a three-phase onboard charger, so with a 22kW cable and a three-phase supply it can charge at up to 22kW.
What length charging cable should I get?+−
5m suits most home and public charge points. Choose 7.5m or 10m if the charge point is far from your car's charging port or you park on the far side of a bay.
What cable does the Zeekr 7X need?+−
A Type 2 to Type 2 cable for home wallboxes and public AC chargers. The 7X uses a standard Type 2 AC inlet. For most UK owners on a single-phase home supply, a 7.4kW cable gives the full available home charging speed. A three-phase cable only adds speed if you have a three-phase supply at home or regularly use 22kW public AC charge points.
Can the Zeekr 7X charge at 22kW on AC?+−
Yes, when connected to a three-phase supply. The 7X's onboard AC charger supports 22kW across three phases, which is above the 11kW that most BEVs support. However, most UK homes are single-phase, which limits AC charging to 7.4kW. At a 22kW public AC charger or with a three-phase home supply, the car uses its full 22kW.
How long does the Zeekr 7X take to charge at home?+−
On a standard 7.4kW single-phase home wallbox, the 100kWh battery takes around 14 hours from empty. On a three-phase 22kW supply that drops to roughly 5 hours. The 75kWh LFP variant takes around 10 hours at 7.4kW or around 3.5 hours at 22kW. Overnight single-phase charging covers most daily use, with DC rapid charging via the station's tethered CCS cable handling longer trips.
What length cable do I need for the Zeekr 7X?+−
A 5m lead is enough for most driveways when the wallbox is near where the car parks. For setups with a longer run between the socket and the car, or where the inlet ends up on the far side, a 7m or 10m cable removes the stretch and makes daily use easier. Match the length to your actual parking situation.
