Fiat E-Doblo
Charging cable
The E-Doblo is single-phase 7.4kW as standard. If you specified the optional 11kW three-phase charger, you need the 22kW cable to use it.
Full AC charging speed for your car.
Why this fits your E-Doblo+−
The Fiat E-Doblo has a Type 2 inlet and a single-phase 7.4kW onboard charger. A 7.4kW cable already delivers its full AC speed. The 22kW option only helps if your next car charges faster.

Charging
the Fiat E-Doblo.
The Fiat E-Doblo is an all-electric panel van and multi-purpose vehicle, in production from 2022 and based on the same Stellantis platform as the Citroen Berlingo Electric and Peugeot e-Partner. It carries a 50kWh battery and can rapid charge at up to 100kW on DC via a CCS connector, making it well suited to businesses that need mid-shift top-ups as well as overnight depot charging. The AC inlet is Type 2, the standard connector for UK wallboxes and public AC chargers.
When charging at a wallbox or AC public point, the cable you bring is a Type 2 to Type 2 lead. The E-Doblo's standard onboard charger is rated at 7.4kW on a single phase, though an 11kW three-phase option is available. DC rapid charging, at up to 100kW, uses the tethered cable at the rapid charger itself.
Estimates based on battery size and charge power. Rapid (DC) times are for a 10 to 80% charge, the way manufacturers quote them. Real-world charging varies with temperature, battery state and the charger itself.
7.4 kW or 22 kW?
Which cable does
the E-Doblo need?
Most E-Doblo operators will have the standard 7.4kW single-phase onboard charger. UK premises with a standard single-phase electricity supply are capped at 7.4kW for AC charging, and the standard E-Doblo's onboard charger matches that exactly. A 7.4kW Type 2 cable gives the van its full overnight charging speed, and the 50kWh battery fills in around seven hours from empty.
If the van is fitted with the optional 11kW three-phase charger, it can draw 11kW on a three-phase supply at compatible public AC points or a three-phase depot charger. On a standard single-phase supply the speed remains at 7.4kW, so the three-phase option only pays back if your depot or regular charging locations have three-phase infrastructure. A 22kW-rated cable is worth considering for that setup.
What does it cost to charge?
Filling the E-Doblo's 50kWh battery from empty costs roughly £4 on an off-peak EV tariff of around 7.5p per kWh, or around £14 at a standard rate of around 27p per kWh. For a business vehicle, overnight depot charging on an EV tariff keeps the cost per mile very low. Public rapid charging is useful for extending range during the working day but costs considerably more per kWh. Check current tariff rates, as these change.

Fiat E-Doblo FAQs
Good
questions.
Still not sure? Our team will confirm the right cable for your vehicle.
Contact usWhat length charging cable should I get?+−
5m suits most home and public charge points. Choose 7.5m or 10m if the charge point is far from your car's charging port or you park on the far side of a bay.
What charging cable does the Fiat E-Doblo need?+−
A Type 2 to Type 2 cable for wallboxes and public AC chargers. The standard E-Doblo charges at 7.4kW on a single phase, so a 7.4kW cable is the right choice. If you have the optional 11kW three-phase charger and use three-phase charging infrastructure, a 22kW cable is worth considering.
Can the Fiat E-Doblo charge at 22kW?+−
No. The standard E-Doblo onboard charger is rated at 7.4kW on a single phase. The optional upgrade reaches 11kW on three phases, but neither version reaches 22kW. A 22kW cable or charger cannot push more power into the van than its onboard charger can accept.
How long does the Fiat E-Doblo take to charge at home or at a depot?+−
On a 7.4kW single-phase wallbox, the 50kWh battery takes around seven hours from empty to full. A standard working day leaves it fully charged by the next morning on overnight charging. With the optional 11kW three-phase charger on a compatible supply, that drops to around five hours.
Does the Fiat E-Doblo support DC rapid charging?+−
Yes, via a CCS connector at up to 100kW. DC rapid charging uses the tethered cable at the rapid charger, not a cable you bring. At 100kW the E-Doblo can add a meaningful range top-up in 20 to 30 minutes, which suits scheduled breaks during delivery runs.
