Citroen e-Spacetourer
Charging cable
The e-Spacetourer is single-phase 7.4kW as standard. If you specified the optional 11kW three-phase charger, you need the 22kW cable to use it.
Full AC charging speed for your car.
Why this fits your e-Spacetourer+−
The Citroen e-Spacetourer has a Type 2 inlet and a single-phase 7.4kW onboard charger. A 7.4kW cable already delivers its full AC speed. The 22kW option only helps if your next car charges faster.

How long does it take?
Charging
the Citroen e-Spacetourer.
The Citroen e-Spacetourer is a large electric MPV built for passenger transport, available in the UK from 2020. It can seat up to nine people depending on configuration, making it popular with minibus operators, taxi fleets, and large families. Two battery options are available: a 50kWh pack for shorter-range use and a 75kWh version for operators needing more range between charges. Both use a Type 2 inlet for AC charging alongside a CCS port for DC rapid charging.
Whether used as a family vehicle or for commercial passenger work, the e-Spacetourer charges via a Type 2 to Type 2 cable at home or at public and depot AC charge points. The onboard AC charger is rated at 7.4kW single-phase as standard, with an 11kW three-phase option available on some specifications. DC rapid charging at up to 100kW uses the charger's own tethered CCS cable rather than a portable lead.
Select your battery size above. The 75kWh version extends range between charges but takes longer to fill from empty on the same AC supply. Rapid (DC) times are for a 10 to 80% charge, the way manufacturers quote them. Real-world charging varies with temperature, battery state and the charger itself.
7.4 kW or 22 kW?
Which cable does
the e-Spacetourer need?
For both 50kWh and 75kWh versions, the standard onboard AC charger delivers up to 7.4kW on a single-phase supply. A 7.4kW Type 2 to Type 2 cable covers that fully and is the right choice for home overnight charging or standard public AC points. Given the vehicle's size, a 7m cable is often more practical than 5m, as the charging inlet may be further from the wallbox depending on parking position.
If the e-Spacetourer has the optional 11kW three-phase onboard charger and you have a three-phase supply available, a 22kW rated cable lets it draw up to 11kW at compatible AC chargers. This can meaningfully cut the charge time on the 75kWh version. On a single-phase home or depot supply, the speed remains at 7.4kW, so confirm your supply type before spending more on the higher-rated cable.
What does it cost to charge?
Filling the 75kWh battery from empty costs roughly £5.60 on an off-peak EV tariff of around 7.5p per kWh, or around £20 at a standard rate of about 27p per kWh. The 50kWh version works out at about £3.75 off-peak or £13.50 at standard rates. For commercial operators, locking in a favourable overnight or business energy tariff makes a meaningful difference to running costs over time. Check current rates as these change.

Good
questions.
Still not sure? Our team will confirm the right cable for your vehicle.
Contact usWhat length charging cable should I get?+−
5m suits most home and public charge points. Choose 7.5m or 10m if the charge point is far from your car's charging port or you park on the far side of a bay.
What charging cable does the Citroen e-Spacetourer need?+−
A Type 2 to Type 2 cable for home wallboxes, depot chargers, and public AC points. The standard onboard charger is 7.4kW single-phase, so a 7.4kW cable is the practical everyday choice. Given the vehicle's size, a 7m lead is often more useful than 5m for flexible parking around a charge point.
Can the Citroen e-Spacetourer charge at 22kW?+−
No. The maximum AC charge rate is 11kW, available on models with the optional three-phase onboard charger. A 22kW cable will not increase speed beyond 11kW, and on a standard UK single-phase supply charging tops out at 7.4kW. The 22kW cable is only useful at three-phase public AC points or with a three-phase site supply.
How long does the Citroen e-Spacetourer take to charge at home?+−
On a 7.4kW home wallbox the 50kWh battery takes around seven hours from empty and the 75kWh version around ten to eleven hours. Both suit overnight charging at home or a depot. For commercial operators doing multi-shift work, DC rapid charging during breaks is the more practical option for topping up quickly.
What length cable do I need for the Citroen e-Spacetourer?+−
A 7m Type 2 to Type 2 cable is a sensible choice for the e-Spacetourer given its length as a vehicle. Depending on parking position and where the charging inlet sits, 5m may not reach the wallbox comfortably. A 7m or 10m lead gives flexibility whether you are charging at home, a depot, or a public site.
